Organization & Team Effectiveness
With a background in organizational psychology, I approach client engagements with the application of behavioral science principles that enhance leadership effectiveness, group cohesion, and individual motivation. I partner with business and HR leaders to identify ways to enhance employee productivity and engagement.
There are many ways to achieve this; the first step is to zero in on the underlying issues. After we gain clarity on the problems, a number of mechanisms can be designed.
A few examples: are strategic priority setting, organization design, leadership alignment off-sites, team development, and/or customized learning programs.
Example 1: At Warner Bros., I conducted a development needs analysis to determine learning gaps for a multigenerational finance population. As a result, the data informed the design of a customized learning opportunity to develop coaching capabilities in people managers. The first round of the “Coaching Lab” reached over 60% of the people management population and participant evaluations were 96% positive.
Example 2: At Warner Bros., I partnered finance executives to identify talent gaps and define programs to enable internal mobility and development. Created and launched a director-level mentoring program and designed a framework for a director-level job rotation program to support development.
